Secret Stage Session at V Festival

OK OK the festival season might be coming to an end now, and RLC have finished touring for this year... But as promised we're not taking a break and we're still here bringing you the best material about the band.

So next on our list is this "secret" performance that RLC had on the Absolute Radio stage in the VIP area at V Festival. Very very intimate as you can see and for a few eyes only!

Red Light Company rock V Festival!

yes, because let's say it honestly... they actually were one of the few highlights of their day. And I'm *not* saying that as a fan. There were some good bands actually, I especially liked Howling Bells, The Noisettes, Jet, and obviously The Killers (even though being that the 3rd time I saw them this year, it was getting kind of predictable... Start off with Human, finish with When You Were Young etc etc... great show eh, but enough for this year!!).

However, let's be positive and focus on the good things! The day was very warm and particularly bright, which demanded some B&W shots... I hope you enjoy them at least as much as I enjoyed taking them and watching RLC's performance once again. I wonder whether I'll ever get bored?? Naaah, I don't think so! :-)

Ah, I was almost forgetting to say that this was the last gig for this year. That makes me kind of sad really but the guys had a very busy time and they do need some well-deserved rest. Also, I know there will be very good news coming up soon which will surely make up for the lack of live performances, and honestly I can't wait. So you'd better stay tuned right here for the latest updates on the band's activities because RLC might as well take a break, but WE'RE NOT!!! :)) xxx

Eccoci!! Alla vigilia dell'inizio della seconda parte del tour europeo 2009 dei RLC, ecco le prime notizie "succulente"!!

Allora, per prima cosa confermata la loro presenza al V Festival per entrambe le date, ovvero sabato 22 agosto a Chelmsford e domenica 23 agosto a Stafford (palco 4 Music).

Per acquistare i biglietti

OK, la brutta notizia è che i biglietti giornalieri per la data di sabato sono ahimé esauriti. Sono però ancora disponibili i biglietti cumulativi per il weekend (solo quelli col campeggio compreso però) e quelli per la data di domenica. Se qualcuno ci va, che ce lo faccia sapere!!! :))

L'altra notizia, secondo me più bella e più importante, ma va da sé che è un parere personale, è che i RLC suoneranno per la prima volta in assoluto a Parigi, il prossimo 10 giugno, di spalla ai Maccabees!!! Location dell'evento, La Maroquinerie (e mentre consulto il sito del locale, scopro che proprio stasera ci suonano i The Veils!!! se non sapete chi sono... beh... peggio per voi!!! una delle band migliori e più sottovalutate del decennio...).

Tra l'altro, nel post del blog di Myspace scritto oggi da Rich e contenente appunto queste informazioni, i RLC "ringraziano in ritardo tutti quelli che ci sono venuti a vedere durante il nostro tour in UK, Austria e Italia (sìììì!!! siamo noi!!!). Speriamo di rivedere qualcuno di voi a qualche festival quest'estate".

Ehm... come dire... prima di tutto "prego", of course! :))) e poi... ma... chissà! speriamo!!!
